Friendship Café - Young Girls Group

The Young Girls Activity Group is a group for 8-13 year olds; younger girls under 8 are welcome but must be accompanied by a female parent/carer.  We meet on alternate Saturdays between 2pm and 4pm at the Friendship Cafe or a pre-arranged meeting place if an activity or outing has been planned.

 All attendees are required to complete a registration form, there is no joining fee but we do request a small donationtion at each session to help support the group.

There is also an annual residential activity holiday usually over two nights in the spring/summer. The girls take part in a range of activities from climbing, abseiling, orienteering, and gorge walking to list just a few.

The Group provides a safe & secure environment in which all are made to feel comfortable.   It is a place they can socialise and make new friends and at the same time participate in a wide variety of activities. We take care to ensure all our activities take into consideration the social, cultural and religious needs of all the girls
