Acorns Pre-School is a committee run pre-school based within Churcham Primary School. We are a small setting of only 12 children per day with 2 memebers of staff.We have a room within the terrapins and a private outdoor space where children can enjoy both indoor and outdoor spaces. We also have full use of the school hall playground and field. We have very strong links with Churcham Primary School to be able to make the transition to school as smooth as possible for both parents and children.The staff at Acorns believe that for a child to grow they need to be in a safe and secure environment which at Acorns we believe we have achieved. We do some group activities as well as child led activities. This year we have been able to purchase a new interactive panel which the children enjoy using for a number of activities also on a Wednesday morning we dedicate a morning to exploring our world. This involves the children using the bottom of the school field to explore try and learn about our environment. We have very limited space at the moment but we do have a spaces from September 2019 if you wish to put your childs name down please feel free to either ring or email for a appointment to come and see our pre-school. This Provider has signed Gloucestershire County Council’s Agreement to offer the free 15hrs for 2 3 & 4 year olds and up to 30hrs of the free government entitlement for 3 & 4 year olds.
