PATA (UK)

PATA is the largest voluntary sector provider of support to early years, childcare and education in Gloucestershire. Through their membership scheme, they represent almost twenty thousand children and their families linked to toddler groups, playgroups and out of school clubs. They also include many of the county's nurseries and children's centres as PATA members, and a number of individuals. PATA delivers support services and training to individuals and settings offering childcare, education and play opportunities. They believe that positive experiences of care, play and learning can significantly contribute to better outcomes for children and young people in the longer term; and that all children and young people should therefore be able to benefit from high quality childcare, play, learning and development opportunities appropriate to their needs.
