So let us tell you abit about The Bump to Baby Chapter... They are antenatal and hypnobirthing classes led by local Gloucester midwives, Beth and Kate.

They were structured to fill the gap for women who want coping strategies for childbirth and to learn about choices, what to expect and life with a new baby. Both hypnobirthing and midwife- led antenatal education classes are both highly popular in the Gloucestershire area.

The Bump to Baby Chapter have made a course with the best of both so expectant mothers don't have to decided between a hypnobirthing or antenatal education class.

The classes are for any expectant mum and their birth partner. The aim of our antenatal classes is to empower parents-to-be to feel prepared, happy and confident about childbirth and parenthood. We want to ensure that you are equipped with correct and honest information in order to face any choices you may have to make in labour and beyond.

Hypnobirthing is something that we think should be under the NHS... It is <b>that</b> valuable to pregnant mothers. You will gain the confidence to believe in your body and it's ability to birth and shatter any fears you may have surrounding labour. Birth without fear is possible... Mums who hypnobirth report <b>enjoying</b> their birth experience.

The course is relaxed and very social so you can make some other great parenting friends along the way. To help build these relationship The Bump to Baby Chapter run weekly buggy walks at Pittville Park, which have become extremely popular in all weathers!

Kate and Beth teach the classes. They are both registered midwives who work in Gloucester Hospital and are both trained in Katherine Graves Hypnobirthing. This means they can give you information that is specific and current to the Gloucestershire Trust hospitals. They are also both mums with 3 children each.
