Taekwondo is the Korean meaning for “the art of hand and foot”, it originated in Korea over more than 60 years ago and is well known for its kicks and elements of self defence.

TCTKD has Sport England’s Clubmark Accreditation, and we have coaches who are dedicated to delivering session to all ages and abilities. The club is accessible to all and offers pathways to anyone wishing to take a progressive route nationally and internationally in Taekwondo.

TCTKD offer lessons that are structured and accommodate all abilities in Taekwondo. Taekwondo offers the perfect combination of strength, balance, flexibility, speed, and fitness, and can be a great confidence booster. Taekwondo is an amazing martial art for people of all ages and abilities, and its benefits go far beyond the physical element.
