Supported Living

Brandon Trust provides Supported Living services to tenants across the Gloucestershire County.  Supported Living is a service of support staff and teams that help people (the tenants ) with a range of support needs to retain their independence, whilst encouraging more choice and control over their own lives. People in Supported Living have their own tenancy and are responsible for the costs of their daily living.

Brandon Trust work closely with Commissioners, Families, and a range of different Housing Providers to ensure people receive accommodation that is matched to their specific needs, including any bespoke solutions for people who require more complex support.

When people decide on Supported Living, they are choosing a route to greater independence and control, living securely behind with their own front door, and with support that is enabling while fostering skills development.

In addition to working with a range of Housing Providers, we also engage with developers in ensuring that accommodation is fit for purpose and meets the changing needs of people, in sustaining their home throughout their lives.

Flexible Support/ Enabling Support

We also provide flexible/enabling support for both young people, and adults with their transition to either an adult or a different placement. This type of support facilitates a smooth transition and reduces anxieties in response to key changes in people’s lives, providing greater access to their community, developing confidence, and attaining independence skills
