Changing Faces is a charity for people and families whose lives are affected by conditions, marks or scars that alter their appearance. They provide confidential information, advice and support to help adults, children, young people and their families grow in confidence and learn techniques to make everyday situations like staring, questions and comments easier to handle. Services available include advice, emotional and practical support by telephone and e-mail, information and self-help resources, group workshops, and a skin camouflage service. Changing Faces works with schools across the UK and also provides training, support and advice to professionals in health and education and campaign to transform public attitudes towards people with disfigurements.
