Best-Start postnatal support

Best-Start postnatal group is our FREE friendly postnatal group, supporting parents and their newborn babies aged 0-6 months old. We provide informative taster sessions and discussions on topics such as play, introducing solid food, first aid, sleep, and teething. The group will be a great opportunity, for parents to meet each other, share experiences and get advice, support and reassurance. Come and join us during weekly sessions to chat through topics with some extra care and attention and to answer any questions you may have. We regularly deliver groups in the Stroud and Gloucester areas. Our programme supports mums and dads with babies 0—6 months old on their parenting journey, as an introduction to community groups and parenting. Each session focuses on up-to-date information and discussions around:

• Adjusting to becoming a parent
• Getting to know baby
• Teething
• Weaning
• Baby massage and sleep
• First Aid
• Play ideas, communicating with your baby and much more!

Our groups are a great opportunity to meet other parents in an informal, inclusive and welcoming environment, to share experiences and gain reassurance on baby’s development. We look forward to meeting you and your baby soon!
