Play Therapist. (Open The Box Therapeutic Services)
- Local Offer
Many children need support in emotional literacy. Others have behaviour or mental health problems at some stage that prevents them from fulfilling their full potential. Play Therapy can help children with these problems as well as helping to process traumatic life events, raise self-esteem, increase resilience and confidence. I am registered with Play Therapy UK, and accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. I am a Trauma Informed Practitioner and a Parent Child Attachment Play Practitioner. According to PTUK studies, between 77% and 84% of children show a positive change through the use of play and creative arts therapies when delivered to PTUK standards.
