Gloucestershire Deaf Association is an award-winning regional charity supporting deaf and hard of hearing children and adults. It also offers rooms for hire within its community centre, including large hall, bar, kitchen, meeting room and exercise studion. GDA's services and community activities include:
- Communications support, including BSL interpreters, speech to text operators, and also MyFriend Network video relay service (on 55124001)
- Listening aid equipment, including amplifying telephones, visual alerter doorbells and devices to help with hearing the TV
- Lip reading classes in Cirencester, Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, Gloucester and Stroud
- Signposting to a local hard of hearing
- Social/community activities for all ages of children and adults with hearing impairment, including deaf kids clubs, deaf youth clubs, deaf social club and deaf lunch club (the last two for BSL users only)
