Ashchurch Primary School
- Local Offer
We feel that although achieving excellence in academic subjects is of great importance, we also aim to provide a balanced education. Each child is encouraged to achieve their academic potential but we consider it essential that they also develop other key attributes and skills, which will enable them to cope with and enjoy life.
We have high expectations of our pupils and place considerable emphasis on the teaching of reading, writing and mathematics. The improvement of the individual is the priority with personal targets being set for English and Mathematics to raise standards of achievement.
We believe strongly that if success is to be achieved, there should be a positive partnership between school, parent and the child. Parents are encouraged to work co-operatively with the school, supporting their child to ensure that they benefit from all that the school has to offer.
We hope that your child will leave Ashchurch School well educated, confident, considerate, socially and environmentally aware individual who is ready to face the challenges of Secondary Education and life.
